Tear Up Old Books and Magazines and Sell Their Pages on eBay

For the past few years I've been tearing up old books and magazines and selling them on eBay and generating very good profits.  I’ll show you how to do exactly the same.  You could be making money from items other people throw into their rubbish bins each day!  Items they're glad to get rid of, which serve no obvious purpose once they're more than a few hours old.  Just ask and most people will stockpile these items for you, some will even pay you to take them away to make room for more of the same. We’re talking everyday items here, even recent publications available in abundance, alongside other paper items which are old and quite rare yet still just cost pennies at auctions and flea markets or even on eBay itself.

Scams on eBay and How to Avoid Them

The irony is, as eBay grows bigger and becomes more successful, it seems to attract more than its own fair share of rogue and undesirable buyers and sellers.  And that can result in honest buyers and sellers being defrauded in their eBay and PayPal transactions.

Give Me $60, £60, 60 Units of Any Country Currency and I’ll Make You a Millionaire in Return!

Imagine this scenario: source just one new product every day and be an Internet millionaire this time next year!  No chance, or so I thought! But actually I’ve just read a book that really does show how easy it is to find that one product each day and reach millionaire status twelve months from now – oh let’s be honest, this wasn’t someone else’s book, this is something I’ve almost completed writing myself and I’ve been compiling it for almost ten years!  I wrote it because I’m a lifelong devotee of numbers games, especially in business and I know that playing numbers games is the way to generate a fabulous income from eBay and elsewhere, on and off the Internet.

Old Postcards You Can Buy Cheap and Sell Them for Triple Figure Prices on eBay

For more than forty years I’ve made the main part of my living selling vintage postcards, first at flea markets and collector’s fairs, and latterly on eBay.  They’re just bits of paper, sometimes very attractive, sometimes not, but either way they can generate fabulous profits, even for items that cost you next to nothing at flea markets and boots sales, even on eBay.  And you’ll be quick to give this easy business a go once you know how items that cost you little or nothing can fetch triple figure sums on eBay. It’s a business that just gets better with time and this is why:

Military Badges – An Uncommonly High Profit Collectible

Auction research company Terapeak say military badges are among the hottest sellers on eBay as the following recent eBay finishing prices will show:

Does eBay Charge Too Much for Its Service, or Too Little?  The Truth Might Surprise You!

Have you ever considered leaving eBay because listing and final selling fees eat up the majority of your profits for virtually every item you sell at the site?  Do you think eBay charges too much for listing and way too much for final selling fees and you consider PayPal’s share of your profits is just adding insult to injury (because if you didn’t know it already, eBay owns PayPal and has several bites at your profits).

How Three Words Repeated Twenty Times on eBay Doubled My Own eBay Profits

Here’s an easy way to double your profits for items you sell pretty much every day on eBay, such as I do selling Victorian photographs.  But I’ll rush to point out this money saving idea works for any product you’re selling, old or new, modern or recent, fetching six figure sums or pocket money prices.  Those Victorian photographs I sell are called ‘Cartes De Visite’, they’re about the size of a credit card and they’re colloquially termed ‘CDVs’ – and I’ve just found a way to double my typical selling price  for photos that can be picked up in huge quantities for pennies apiece at boot sales and flea markets.

How Two for the Price of One Cuts Costs and Triples Bidding Figures & eBay Finishing Prices

There’s a common problem experienced by many eBay sellers whose goods appeal to potential buyers from two or more eBay product categories.  As an example, a book signed by it’s author might appeal to book collectors and autograph enthusiasts; a car once featured in a popular film could sit just as comfortably under ‘Cars, Motorcycles and Vehicles’ as under ‘DVD Film & TV > Film Memorabilia > Not Specified’.

Problems to Avoid When Seeking Profitable Arbitrage Opportunities on eBay

You probably already know that in marketing terms arbitrage means to buy a product below market value then resell it at its correct market value or hopefully much higher.  There are countless ways to achieve this objective, by purchasing items going cheap on Amazon, for example, or at flea markets and boot sales, then reselling them in another marketplace, in our case on eBay.  Buying goods inexpensively on eBay and reselling them also on eBay is another very profitable option that can generate profits way exceeding two or three hundred or even several thousand per cent profit each time.

A Quick Guide to Buying Vintage Topographical Postcards for Next to Nothing and Reselling Them For Two and Three Figure Prices on eBay

Postcards are among the most popular and profitable products on eBay and represent a business open to anyone, even without specialist experience, subject to a few simple rules you’ll read about here.  That’s because you can very easily make money if you stick to postcards you know will almost always sell, and at a profit.  They're called 'topographical' postcards (sometimes ‘topo’, sometimes ‘view cards’) and they depict geographical locations like towns, cities and villages.  They're among the most collectable items and they virtually sell themselves.  Postcards rank third most collectable item worldwide, just behind coins and stamps.  So they’re not the bits of worthless paper many people imagine, in fact some amazing prices can be fetched for postcards, notably on eBay, where items you can pick up for pennies or cents at flea markets where sellers are unfamiliar with selling online can fetch double figure, sometimes three figure prices on eBay

How to Make an Instant Fortune on eBay - and Elsewhere - The Real Truth About Instant Wealth Revealed

You see it all the time, especially when you’re invited to buy business opportunity courses and eBooks, or licences for products to resell on eBay, and it’s usually a headline on a web site or the title of the product, sometimes it’s the subject line of an email promoting those products. Often it’s the caption to a photograph and it goes something like this:

Early Comic Characters And My Latest eBay Product Range

A few weeks ago in a local auction saleroom I spotted a car mascot depicting Bruce Bairnsfather’s famous cartoon character ‘Old Bill’.  ‘Old Bill’ was a private infantryman in the British Expeditionary Force during the First World War.  He smoked like a chimney and got into all kinds of trouble with his superiors as can be seen in hundreds of cartoons drawn by Bairnsfather and published in magazines and newspapers, also on postcards and numerous other popular collectibles.

Joint Venture Deals and How to Do Them on eBay

Here’s a way to make thousands of dollars pure profit every month through eBay without ever having to list your own products and without paying a penny to make this idea work today and tomorrow and every time you apply it!  Notice I said ‘through’ eBay because you won’t actually be making this money on eBay, instead you will be using eBay as a kind of middleman to initiate the easy money making process we’re considering now.

Buy Lifetime Collections For Next to Nothing and Sell Them for Fabulous High Prices on eBay

Small town auction salerooms are excellent places to participate in a very special product sourcing method that involves buying extensive collections and reselling those items individually on eBay where profits can be staggering. This idea works so wonderfully well because when a collector dies his beneficiaries may not share his interest in dolls or stamps, guitars or military badges, or whatever other items the deceased collected in profusion.

Buy Books from Library Clearances And Sell Them for High Profits on eBay

All public libraries have limited space and must offload older books - also CDs and DVDs - to make room for new and that’s why you’ll find regular sales taking place in libraries and advertised for a few weeks on library notice boards.  You can find some great bargains at library sales for goods costing pennies or a few pounds at most with potential to fetch profits of five or ten pounds apiece.

Buy Goods for Low Prices at Jumble Sales and Sell Them for Record High Prices on eBay

Jumble sales are usually best described as table top sales of stuff their past owners might otherwise throw out but the jumble sale saved them the trip to the rubbish dump.  That said, you can very easily find dozens or even hundreds of low profit items at jumble sales, such as toys and children’s clothing, books and costume jewellery, alongside other items that might need a few light repairs but will cost just pennies and could sell at a tenner apiece or more.  So if you don’t mind hard work there’s a ready market here for you to conquer, and presenting little competition because few people fancy the time and effort and sometimes work that goes into sorting out genuine treasure from trash at these busy events.

Buy Goods for Rock Bottom Prices at School and Church Fetes and Sell Them for Record High Prices on eBay

School and Church Fetes are a bit like jumble sales but they’re often heavy in items made by children and parents, church officials and worshippers to raise funds for school trips or repairs to the church roof.  But at these events you’ll sometimes find quality manufactured items and antiques donated by fundraisers alongside low profit items with good resale potential.  Visitors enjoy the same benefits as those to jumble sales, namely the chance to buy high profit items for low prices, while also suffering similar problems of crowding and pushing.  But school and church fetes are excellent places to make contact with artists and craftworkers, also cooks and cake decorators whose goods are selling on the day and might fetch much higher prices on eBay.

Buy Goods From Wholesalers and Sell At Massive Mark Ups on eBay

Wholesalers typically offer products in bulk at a significant discount on retail value and represent one of the easiest ways to locate products with regular high profit potential on eBay.  They deal with trade only because selling to private individuals is rarely profitable and will alienate them with commercial buyers.  And that’s the reason most wholesalers ask for proof of trading status before allowing you to enter their premises.  As an eBay seller you can prove your business status by creating your own letterhead or business card in Microsoft Word, add your business name and eBay ID.  Alternatively, open a business bank account, have your cheque book printed with your business name, and use that to gain entry.

If All You Want is One Good Idea for Making Your Business Fortune I Can Give You Hundreds!

Today a fellow eBay seller and eBook publisher, working in the USA, gave me access to more than 1,000 articles he had commissioned for some of his business opportunity web sites and blogs.  The idea was for me to study some of those articles and rewrite them to use to generate traffic to some of my own web sites.  But, having read just ten or so of those articles it struck me my readers might also like access to a heap of really unusual business ideas for making money on and off the Internet, including on eBay.   So today I’m going to reveal two ideas I particularly enjoyed reading about .....

Make Money on eBay From Dead People

I have to confess I’m not too keen on this idea because I don’t like making money from other people’s misfortunes.  So what I’m telling you now is not a personal recommendation, even though it can make big money for you almost every day of the year.  The upshot is, when a much loved celebrity dies, you’ll find memorabilia relating to that person’s private and working life suddenly gains a new and much more profitable existence on eBay.

Why £2 a Week is A Massive Fortune to Me!  And It Should Be a Great Deal of Money to You!

Many people think I make a fortune online, but actually I don’t.  In fact I make about £100 a day, and I’m glad of it.  Glad of it because: *  That one hundred pounds is free of overheads and, apart from the taxman wanting his share, it’s all mine!  That and because .....
